Clan Purpose Statement


=DBD= Clan exists to compete in online gaming in a competitive, fair and friendly manner.
=DBD= Clan shall exist in its own right with no member claiming ownership and in the event of the clan dissolving no member shall have the right to claim the clan name.
The clan shall operate on a democratic basis with all major decisions being made by majority view of all Head Admin following consultation with all the financially contributing members.

Definition of major decision: one which changes the future direction of the clan

History
Founded on the 5th July 2008 for the purpose of fun mature gaming with an element of competitive match play.

Why are we called Death Before Dishonour, because the founder members valued loyalty to each other and the name seemed appropriate, however it still carries our values in game and in sharing each others joy and pain through real life.

We have a constantly growing membership, who by donation contribute to our financial stability, with a strong following on our public servers who come back because we maintain a high level of sensible no hopping, no Bull**** gaming.

We have established ourselves as part of the COD League and have assisted and promoted other clans helping to strengthen the ever increasing online gaming community.

English is the spoken language on Ventrillo or Team Speak, in our servers and on our website but that hasn’t stopped us from welcoming members and gamers from other countries.

Whilst =DBD= are predominantly Call of Duty focussed, there is no knowing where we will go in the future and we are open to consideration of change.

So after almost 2 years we are now reviewing what we did when we started out and have developed this new website to give us our own identity as a truly fun mature gaming clan.
